What Our Residents are Saying About The Hickman

Phil Christy
quotes

At The Hickman, I’ve found a comfortable home for my retirement. I can keep my independence and am cared for at the same time.
My welcome to The Hickman was a special experience. Many fellow residents and staff took time to include me in the social life and activities I so enjoy. Mealtime is delightful; the food is delicious and lovingly served. I feel very fortunate to call The Hickman my home!

quotes

After we had a bout with a serious illness, our children suggested that it was time for a change of lifestyle and that we truly ‘retire.’ We knew friends who lived at The Hickman in West Chester, and were very impressed by the quality of loving care they received there. So…we downsized, sold the house and moved in. We have never looked back!

It has been a wonderful experience. We enjoy our apartment and feel very much at home. The residents and staff surround us with love. We are glad there is such a place to meet our needs as we age in place without the pressures of homeownership. Our children are happy with our choice and appreciate the worry-free time we’re able to spend with them and our grandchildren.
